Micah Pak

Micah Pak was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He received his B.Sc. in Human Biology at Uof Toronto in 1992 and graduated from Ontario Theological Seminary in 1997 before coming to Philadelphia. Further studies at Biblical Theological Seminary were completed in 2002.
​
In America, Micah started as a campus ministry director for SFC in 1998 but moved onto college group ministry at FKPC in 1999 for 3 years.
Starting 2002, he started ministry at YSPC as a College Group Pastor and served as an assistant pastor for 20 years to the KM from the time of his ordination under KAPC in 2006.
​
Micah has been married for 29 years to Hannah, and has a daughter and two sons
SEUNG YI

Seung was born in South Korea and moved to Baltimore when he was 11. He graduated from Drexel University with a degree in electrical engineering.
He married his wife Anna in 1994. Seung has been a member of MPC since its founding. He was ordained in the KAPC as a deacon in 2002 and later as an elder in 2019.
Seung enjoys playing golf and working on cars. He is a loving husband and father who enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.

Inae was born in South Korea before moving to Philadelphia in 2000 and she has been here ever since. After earning her bachelors at Temple University in Early Childhood Education, she is now a director at a daycare.
​
Inae has been at MPC since it's formation as one of its core members.
​
Her hobbies include watching K-dramas and movies, making coffee, and playing volleyball.
DANIEL CHOI

“Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.’” (Matt. 18:22)
Daniel is a native of Pennsylvania, but he has also lived in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and California. He studied finance and economics at Penn State and is now a business consultant working in the pharmaceutical industry.

After spending some time living outside of Pennsylvania, Daniel moved back during his junior year in high school and has been at MPC ever since.
Daniel is married with four children. His hobbies include spending quality time with friends and family.
JOOYOUNG CHOI

Jooyoung was born in South Korea before moving to the US. He attended Kornberg School of Dentistry where he received his D.M.D.
​
Jooyoung has attended MPC since he was in high school. After graduating college, he felt God calling him to return there and serve the next generations of brothers and sisters in our youth and college ministries.
​
His hobbies include watching good movies and T.V. shows. He enjoys playing basketball because "ball is life". He also enjoys bowling and is a member of the 200 club.
ALEX PAIK

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give o rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)
Originally from Queens, New York, Alex spent most of his life growing up in Pennsylvania. He attended Philadelphia Biblical University for Pastoral Studies and is on track to finishing up his Master of Divinity. He is bi-vocational, working full time managing the service department as well as engineering for an integration security company, while doing part time youth and EM ministry as a pastor (currently on break).
Alex came to MPC out of a conviction that was sown by God in him and his family’s heart while looking for a church for his family to grow.
Alex is married with two daughters. He has too many hobbies to list!
